Weired talented puppeteer
Portal on the 71/2 floor
Turned on by knowing another girl in John Malkovich's body
Puppeteer and his wife and John Malkovich fall in love for the same lady
Living their livies by entering new ripe vessel
Scene 1 with Maxine's doll:
M: Tell me Craig, why do you love puppeteering?
C: Well, Maxine, I'm not sure exactly. Perhaps the idea of becoming someone else for a little while, being inside another skin…thinking differently, moving differently…feeling differently…
M: Interesting Craig. Would you like to be inside my skin…think what think, feel what I feel?
C: More than anything Maxine .
M: It's good in here, Craig. It's better than your wildest dreams.
Scence 2 with Maxine:
M: You're not somebody I could get interested in Craig. You play with dolls.
C: Puppets, Maxine. You see it's the idea of being inside someone else's skin...and...and seeing what they see and feeling what they feel.
M: Yikes!
So funny...!
But the plot was purely funny at first, but
then it became so serious and
provocative Even though I knew it was absurd, I couldn't help but resonate.
