I don't know how to rate this film. It can only be said that this film is so imaginative and crazy! For example, the male protagonist raises orangutans at home and works on the seventh and a half floors of a building (note that it is between the seventh and eighth floors)...and the design of these details will play a role in the back.
The main line of the film is quite elegant. The actor found a magical hole in his office. Entering this hole, he can enter the brain of a famous actor and observe the world through his eyes... The title of the film "Being John Malkovic" is this mean.
I also thought about it before: if I could become someone else, what would it be like to see the world from the eyes of others? So it's no wonder that so many people in the film are willing to spend two hundred to become John Malkovic, and I want to try it too.
In the film, the male protagonist slowly controls Malkovic like a doll, which is probably how the translation of "Puppet Life" came from. But there are so many things I don't understand. What does the captain mean by immortality? How could these two girls fall in love? What kind of idea is the film trying to convey?
Maybe this is a crazy movie.
