After watching the pilot episode of "Homeland", it was very good, so I decided to follow it. Summarized a few highlights of this suspense drama and shared it with fans.
1. The identity of the captured U.S. military. Among the captured soldiers, some stuck to the bottom line and were brutally killed; some defected and defected and survived by luck. The sergeant in the series was turned against by terrorists, and after returning to China, he enjoyed heroic treatment, but was used by terrorists. For what reason did he betray his country? Just simply unbearable torture and don't want to die? Or is there a bigger conspiracy behind this, and he is forced to do so?
2. The family relationship of the left-behind family. The sergeant was held captive for nearly ten years, and his family thought he was dead. If he came back a year later, his wife might have remarried. But luckily, the sergeant made a dramatic return. How will he handle his relationship with his wife? How to resolve the estrangement between him and his son and daughter?
3. The mental health of intelligence analysts. It was already known in the first episode that the female intelligence agent in the show had an emotional control disorder, so I always felt like she was a little neurotic when she was dealing with her problems. Is she mentally ill? Could there be something she imagined on her own?
Anyway, the TV series made by Laomei always like to give complicated human nature to the characters in the play. The soldier was turned against him, maybe he was forced to; the hero who returned home was admired by thousands of people but had to face a broken family; the intelligence officer represented justice but suffered from mental illness. Perhaps only by putting people in a dilemma can we truly see human nature.
