What shocked me the most? In the last episode, Elizabeth, the vice president's closest and most staunch aide, was killed by Walker in front of the vice president, and even Elizabeth's blood splattered his white shirt. But the vice president, the defense secretary and others were unmoved. Even safely in the bunker, no one realized they had just lost a close comrade. Completely anti-human, cold-blooded, cruel and numb. Politicians are just pure machines, without the so-called human emotions. Sadness, coercion, overwhelm, grief, etc., these are the reactions that should be normal people's reactions. Even more ironically, the only time the vice president officially touched on Elizabeth's death was in his speech announcing his candidacy for president. Her death was fully used as a stepping stone for the campaign, or in other words, it was discarded once it was used.

As I get older, I realize more and more that the human world is divided into different worlds in terms of material, knowledge, and three perspectives. Like sometimes people joke that leaders are made of special materials. Often what you take for granted is completely unthinkable or even non-existent in other people's minds. What you think is normal for others may also be self-indulgent, overthinking, and so on. Perhaps such a deviation is the root cause of the entire world, ranging from disputes between countries, ethnic groups, religions and religions, to poor communication between people and even conflicts.
