The film is a moderately suspenseful thriller, there is no horror, no blood, and violence is not excessive, but there are a few dew-point shots. The film can attract the audience to find the real murderer, and the one who is least like the murderer becomes the murderer in the end.
Kate is indeed a performer, and she performs well the various emotions of the characters. The whole film basically depends on her.
The story is indeed a bit clichéd, and this kind of supernatural film is hard to convince people. Especially at the end of the film, Annie fell to death, and it was Barty's ghost that saved her. This is the same as the relic at the end of Jiang Wen's "Heroes of Heaven and Earth". It is a helpless act for the story to be difficult to complete and self-satisfaction. It is really a failure. It is more reasonable to arrange for a prosecutor with Jessica to follow and save Annie.
Overall it's okay.
