The film takes place on a seaside in New England in 1965. A girl and a boy agreed to elope together because of the same eccentric personality, and the people on the island searched for them. "Moonrise Kingdom" in English is moonrise kingdom, which reminds me of a song by Mayday and Chen Qizhen called Elopement to the Moon. In the song "We eloped to the moon, let our feet go to the sky and let us feel, the carefree vacuum and the pure moonlight moved", I think it is very similar to the boys and girls in the movie eloping to the island. The age of 12 is the age of innocence, childishness, beauty and sweetness. The tone of the entire film is gray and yellow, as if recalling childhood memories, teenage memories of daring actions or dreams. The tones are soothing to look at, which is very suitable for watching quietly at night. It makes me want to go back to my age of about 12, and try to be crazy once, and try to be a "bad boy". I also like the orchestral music in the film very much, and I quite like listening to the orchestra playing those classic music. The background of the whole film is the 1960s, and the things in the film will happen to the teenagers of every era.
