In my opinion, "Moonrise Kingdom" is a very slow-motion animation imitation. The beautiful traverse shots and character braking performance must be deliberately arranged by the director, and even the mysterious villager like Santa Claus has a subtlety to replace the director's complaints. It's just like a live-action cartoon, or a high imitation.
However, unlike the fast-paced "remakes" of sci-fi animations and comics, "Moonrise Kingdom" is very slow, so slow that you can see the delicate yellowing of the entire picture. What impressed me the most was the grassland where the hero and heroine met, the windmill turned, and the picture seemed to see the wind and love.
The stalk about the male protagonist's hat like the snow mountain flying fox has not been seen for a long time, and the female protagonist looks like Lana Del Rey, just like her, the eye shadow and the corner of the mouth are very literary and rebellious. Whether this is acting or looks is the question.
The first time I saw Edward Norton acting was such a nerve-wracking film, and was stole the limelight by Bruce Willis. Throughout the film, the children tried their best to pretend to be mature, and the adults were all cute. Are they really real?
If the final outcome is that two people break up, and then "I'm so tired, I feel like I won't love anymore", that's a godsend.
