When Batman and Jason Bourne team up, it's hard not to be a good movie. I feel like it's a pretty standard and neat movie: it has ups and downs, a tense plot, well-drawn characters, a shooting that puts you in a racetrack, and a poignant ending. All in all, this is a good movie that is definitely worth going to the cinema.
What struck me the most about this movie was the friendship between Miles and Shelby. Their friendship was built on mutual appreciation for each other. They were all top drivers with an incomprehensible love for racing, with Shelby dealing with Ford executives and Miles focusing on racing. More valuable is that they have all made changes. The unruly Miles finally agreed to Ford's unreasonable request and crossed the finish line with two other Ford drivers. Shelby went from being a rhetorical boss who lured customers into buying cars to no longer willing to tell lies. It is very precious to have such a friendship in a lifetime.
Love, an extreme love for something, and having like-minded partners is really enviable.
