I watched the movie last week, and I haven’t written it until now. Although I have written some in my diary, I still have to record it on the Internet with a sense of ritual.
When it comes to watching this movie, it has nothing to do with the content of the movie. I will watch this movie because Zhu Yilong recommended it. He said that when he was in college, he often pulled films, and this is one. He felt like he had mentioned it many times, so he watched it out of curiosity. But to be honest, I don't like this movie too much, probably because I don't like bloody and violent personal biographical films too much. Then I thought for a long time why Mr. Ju likes this film. The first is that he also practiced Muay Thai before and may feel familiar with the subject. Then, he likes biographies, movies and books should be, and this movie is a biographical film based on real people. Probably for these two reasons.
This movie tells the life of a famous boxer. What I remember deeply seems to be the ups and downs of life, with highs and lows, without the aura of the protagonist, it is more realistic. And then for Jack, the boxing champion, violent, upright, suspicious, are the words I remember describing him. The most depressing part of this movie is probably that he beats the particularly beautiful wife because she suspects that she is having an affair with others. Then the wife packed up to leave, but reconciled and stayed. Hmm... Maybe it's human nature to know that he will be hurt or not willing... In addition, the most embarrassing thing is that when he was old, he was fat and bloated, in contrast to him when he was a youth champion, a person who was obviously so high-spirited ended up becoming a Big fat man, but fortunately he is a rich big fat man. I really admired the fact that some people said that the final obesity was not makeup, but the actors gaining weight.
In short, it should be that I am too superficial and did not understand its profound meaning, so I did not like this movie very much. I hope to come across more empathetic or eye-opening videos in the future.
