Monsters, Inc. is my favorite Pixar movie. My memory of this movie is always stuck with Abu's last "Cat!" and Fury's warm smile. It might be hard to keep that smile on, so Pixar chose a completely different story, and frankly I didn't have any expectations for this movie, because of Pixar's recent performance, I was afraid to spoil my feelings about the first one.
I look at it very seriously, in fact, "ok" is ourselves, sometimes we are ignored; sometimes we are entangled with ourselves; sometimes we are crazy and rebellious; sometimes we can't change the smile on others; Defeat the opponent; be as small as a big-eyed boy but not admit defeat. In the first half of the plot, aside from the splendid pictures and not-so-fashionable jokes as always, accompanied by the stubborn expression of Big Eyed, I think it is natural to go to the end like this. Because people should not give up and should have ideals, this is the structure of a perfect story. But before the big-eyed boy faced off against the captain of the frightening team, I knew that it was impossible for the big-eyed boy to defeat the frightening team. In addition to working hard and not giving up, what people need to learn in the end is how to accept their own destiny and face it calmly. It's hard, much harder than rushing forward. In the end, the "we" who were left with inferiority and self-defeating were not the ones who frightened adults and then returned to school, but started from the bottom and created miracles with hard work step by step.
Frankly speaking, I saw myself in this story. I graduated from a second-class university. I knew the world was big, but I didn't know that I was very small. I don't have the courage to find another way, and I don't want to go with the flu. When I came into contact with more and more graduate colleagues from famous colleges and universities, I realized that I lost in the past four years. Although I sometimes feel complacent because I know more about eating, drinking, and having fun, I can't help but feel ashamed professionally. Always trying to prove something, but can't find the evidence.
The great thing about Pixar is that its films say a lot about our past, yet give us the courage to continue.
