This is not a movie review, just an afterthought.

After watching it last night, I washed and fell asleep. When I woke up today, I was thinking about this movie, so I decided to write down what I thought of. It's been a long time since I wrote a long story, and now I basically forget to write, and I can't write anything. However, my thoughts on this movie exceeded the 140-character limit for short reviews, so I can only open a long review.

I have seen three Ang Lee movies so far. The other two are "Youth Pi" and his early "Sense and Sensibility". My comprehension is shallow, and I often fail to appreciate the "he perfectly expressed..." that many people say. But I felt a very powerful skill of Director Li: he could make me calm down and watch his storytelling from the very beginning. So I also think he is a good director. I will definitely be looking at his other works in the future.

Another is that I've only seen two Heath Leadger movies so far. The other is the famous "Batman and the Joker" (hey, don't change the name of other people's movies randomly?!) I have seen his crazy eyes when he was a clown, and I have also seen him when he was gay. The introverted look was only momentarily excited. But in the two movies, he can't see his true colors at all. How good is this acting? Therefore, I will continue to look at his other works, but unfortunately the number is limited, so I must cherish it and read it slowly. By the way, I really want to see what he looks like when he gets older.

What I saw about this story was that it was expressing a love with many obstacles, and homosexuality was just a form of expression. Romantic people will believe that love is between two souls, regardless of gender, background, age, and all other worldly constraints. But what about empty passion? The director chose to set the story time between the 1960s and the 1980s because the barriers to homosexuality in that era were an irreconcilable flaw, right? It expresses the feeling of being incapable of being in love despite being so loving. The strength of just two people is not enough to contend with some worldly things that have to be faced~ Can an ordinary person really abandon the world completely and not eat the fireworks of the world? Yes, the last time I read the report, the two elderly people who moved to the "love ladder" to live on the mountain did it. But this is a minority after all, so the story of the two old people is so commendable, so this movie is so emotional.

The natural scenery in the movie is so beautiful, and the soundtrack is also good! And the most memorable scene for me is Ennis saying I swear to two pieces of clothes wrapped together... how sad.
