"Rage to the Rescue": The Art of Death with Violence

Using violence to control violence somewhat means "returning the same way to the other body". As we all know, this is the murder trick of the characters in Jin Yong's works. The nobility of it is clearly filled with a philosophical flavor. Like that line in "Rage to the Rescue": "A man can be an artist . art is death."

There are many movies with the theme of using violence to control violence, acting for the sky and so on. Most of them are themes of police and bandit crimes. They are not alone in the tiger's den and fight against strong enemies. Finally, in the explosion of fireworks and billowing smoke, they emerge as a lone hero; It is to fight against all kinds of injustice with the body of disease, and under the ultimate test, try to save the lost lamb. The bloody, powerful and fighting scenes of the former can indeed bring strong visual stimulation during the viewing process, but after watching it, it is just like that, and it becomes a cloud when you see it. Lots of room for recollection. The film "Rage Rescue" just has the above two viewing effects. The black actor Denzel Washington's death art and the emotional interaction with the little girl to the mutual redemption process make the film bring the audience a visual impact. The weight of heavy thinking. Although not very clever, but also enough to disdain other mediocre commercial entertainment films.

The film can basically be divided into two parts, the first half is redemption, and the second half is revenge. The story is actually very cliché. A guilt-ridden veteran and an innocent and lovely girl collide with each other and complete their mutual redemption. It is interspersed with triad forces and government law enforcement officers who are in a state of misery, and the father of the pretentious kidnaps his own daughter in order to defraud insurance money. Obviously, the whole story not only has a delicate interpretation of emotions, but also has real guns and tricks to kill, which can be described as both soft and hard. The first half is somewhat similar to "This Killer Is Not Too Cold". The level of drama between Denzel Washington and Dakota Fanning is not inferior to that of Jean Reno and Natalie Portman. Perhaps the difference is that "Rage Rescue" focuses on warmth, while "This Killer Is Not Too Cold" has some witty elements. The second half of the revenge is a bit vulgar, but as a commercial entertainment film, after all, as much as possible to adjust the taste of the public, it is the primary consideration.

The picture of "Rage Rescue" has a bit of oil painting texture. Whether it is the rendering of the warm atmosphere under the thick ink and color in the first half, or the depiction of the gloomy sky in the second half, it brings great visual enjoyment to the audience. The soundtrack of the film is also a highlight. The tactful and desolate female voice sings the tragic atmosphere of the protagonist's self-sacrifice to revenge to a climax.

There is a line in the film that quotes the Bible as far-fetched as "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good". I don’t think it’s as appropriate as the Chinese leader’s phrase, “If you don’t offend me, I won’t offend others. If someone offends me, I will definitely offend them”, and even add another sentence: “If you don’t commit a crime, you will do it. ". Since it is a movie, and since it is revenge, it is still decided to watch it happily.
