simple story

I watched Man on Fire again today. It is a film with a strong religious connotation. Words such as the Bible, Atonement, and Lost Sheep are constantly appearing. And Pita is Crease's guide.
In the film's last life-for-life, Pita regained her freedom, Crease was redeemed, and went home quietly. I was thinking, if Pita was killed by the gangsters, can Crease realize his redemption by killing them all? Crease saved Pita and saved himself. But this last trip was due to the mercy of the gangsters and did not kill Pita.
If people can live with faith, the pursuit of material things will indeed be much less. Unfortunately, this magical land deprives people of the ability to have faith.

The emotional paving is good. I saw my nose sore several times.

The film was very psychedelic, and I like it very much. The warm film made me tears. The moment Cresay fell to the ground and finally rescued Pita. Danzel's charm is a bit infinite to me now, his voice is so nice, I don't care whether your film is bad or not. You are my number one baby bear.

Man on Fire quotes

  • Samuel: [in his car] Your resume is quite impressive. 16 years of miltary experience, extensive counter-terrorism work. I'm surprised anyone could afford you, what's the catch?

    Creasy: I drink.

Samuel: How does that affect you?

Creasy: Coordination, reaction time. Top professionals try to kidnap your daughter I'll do the best I can but the service will be on par with the pay.

    Samuel: What if amateurs try?

Creasy: I'd probably kill 'em. That likely?

Samuel: No. No one is to know about your drinking. That includes my wife.
