Like any magical story, it all started a long, long time ago.…
At that time, the world was harmonious, and the aborigines such as dwarves, goblins and elves lived on this continent for a long time, multiplying from generation to generation.
In the third century BC (that is, about 1,500 years ago in the play version), the "Celestial Convergence" event occurred, the worlds between different dimensions collided, and the worlds were directly connected and interpenetrated. Humans, ghouls, vampires, dragons and other demons were introduced into this world, and the power of chaos (magic) followed.
Then humans ended the elves' domination of the continent with their amazing reproductive ability. (There is an old saying in the elf race: "Although we fight like wolves, we can't beat the races that live like rabbits.")
After 1500, the continent was roughly divided into two areas of influence - the Northern Kingdoms and the Nilfgaardian Empire. The boundaries of the four directions of the continent are: the giant dragon mountain range in the extreme north, the vast ocean in the west, the Farre Mountains in the east, and the countries of Hannu and Ophir which are further south than Nilfgaard in the south.
The story of Geralt and Sylvain took place in the Valley of Flowers in the east of Aedirn, which is near the easternmost part of the world, so it is called the edge of the world.
Sintra is the one closest to Nilfgaard in the Northern Kingdoms. Due to Queen Calanthe's arrogance, Sintra was broken in the First Northern War and incorporated into Nilfgaard.
Queen Calanthe's husband, East Tursek, was born in the Tursek family of the Skellige Islands and was the brother of King Bran, the lord of the archipelago. His marriage to Sintra was also a source of arrogance for Calanthe, who thought that with the help of the Archipelago, the Nilfgaardian Empire could be repulsed. However, Nilfgaardian warlocks created a storm that sank the archipelago's fifty iron ships to aid, leaving Sintra in a predicament of isolation and helplessness.
According to the wizard's worldview chronology, the timeline is organized:
1173 Yennefer of Ungerburg is born.
1180 Geralt of Rivia is born.
1211 Rogner of Ebbing, Ciri's maternal grandfather born
1218 Calanthe, Ciri's grandmother, is born.
About 1220s Emhyr Enreth, the father of Downey the Hedgehog and Ciri was born.
1229 The bard Dandelion is born.
In 1231, a coup occurred in the Nilfgaardian Empire, the emperor Forgos Enris was overthrown, and the prince Emhyr Enris was cursed by the warlocks and turned into "Hedgehog" Downey and lived in the wilderness.
1232 Calanthe becomes queen.
In 1233 E1, Geralt killed Renfri and won the title of "The Butcher of Blaviken".
1235 Rogner of Ebbing marries Calanser.
1237 Abbing's Rogner is in danger in the wild and is rescued by Downey the Hedgehog, who promises to repay with the law of accident. Immediately afterwards, Pavetta, the daughter of Calanthe, was born.
1246 Rogner of Ebbing dies, and Calanthe is widowed.
1251 E3 The plot takes place, Geralt and Dandelion meet Sylvain and the Elf King Philavandre at the edge of the world. In the same year, the E5 plot happened, Dandelion released the bottle god, and almost lost his voice permanently. Geralt and Yennefer meet, bang bang bang.

1253 Ciri is born.
1256 E2 plot takes place, Geralt helps King Foltest of Temeria to break the curse of his daughter, the vampire bird.
1257 "Hedgehog" Downey and Pavetta were shipwrecked in the Sedna Abyss (Pavetta was missing, most likely dead, and Hedgehog was rescued.) In the same year, Downey, who is believed to be dead, secretly returned to the Nilfgaardian Empire , staged a coup d'etat and regained his throne.
1263 E1 and E7 plots take place, the first northern war broke out, Sintra was defeated in the battle of Manada, and East was killed. Afterwards, Nilfgaard invaded Sintra, launched a massacre, and Calanthe committed suicide. In the same year, the E8 plot took place, the battle of Suoshan Mountain, and the victory of the northern coalition forces. Of the twenty-two sorcerers led by Yennefer, fourteen died.
(Note: E6 Hunting the Green Dragon is an original plot of the show, presumably taking place in 1251-1252.)
