"Devil's Advocate" is a film that I blow up, because it is itself a Bible, a work of art. There are so many things to say about this movie. The actors, sets, shots, plots, lines, rhythm, structure, morals, soundtrack, etc. are all first-rate. The acting skills of Al Pacino and Keanu Reeves are really incomparable. Picky. The movie closely combines the magical reality with religion, and expresses the image of the devil vividly and vividly through exaggerated methods. What is the devil, it is only man himself, he is man's greed, desire and evil. There are two clues in the movie, one is Kevin in real life and the other is Kevin in fiction, but whether it is reality or fiction, Kevin could not escape the original sin of greed in the end. The fictional Kevin, as a lawyer, defends the guilty. Although he earns fame, he turns black and white, and eventually leads to destruction. Although the real Kevin goes to justice, he still fails to resist the temptation. Not just Kevin, every one of us is evil, every one of us is the devil's advocate, we all crave fame, money, and lust, because it's our basic needs, and it's something we can't change. I like what Al Pacino said very much: "God gave human emotions intuition, just to entertain himself, he set the opposite rules of the game, the biggest prank in history, you want to see it, but you are not allowed to touch it. When you get there, don't eat it, eat it, but don't swallow it, when you foul, he will laugh at you, this guy is a sadist." Yes, is there any essential difference between God and the devil? Movies show us the evil of human nature, but they don't tell us very much what to do. I don't know what to do either, I have those desires, I want justice, but I need to survive.
