First of all, although this is the drama of the three best actors, it can be seen that when they were young, their actions were still too slow and a little unnatural. The evolution of the whole plot reminded me a bit of the American past. Noodles finally gave up killing Max, but Frank did not, or in the end, Frank did not describe his regrets in the movie. Killing Hoffa was the climax of the whole movie. In retrospect, Russell still felt that he should not give up his own for the sake of profit. Friends, or in other words, noodles may be the most relieved person in the end, because he once believed in friends, so he is actually more relieved, because the creed of life has not been violated, and he will not forget himself when he grows old. The action, the span of time, make the film become heavy.
