An Irishman's life

Frank's life can be simply divided into three stages: himself; knowing Russell; knowing Jimmy.

As a World War II veteran, Frank has long realized that a normal life will never lead to the life he wants. Then start stealing pork. Is the quality of people's trust that he can win innate? From the time the butcher shop owner blocked his car, including the magnificent life in the future, almost all the people he met completely trusted him. Of course, regarding the matter of stealing pork, I really don't quite understand why it is too risky to have to steal the whole car and deliver it empty. This no-brainer behavior is not what the old-fashioned Frank calls it. Why do you say that he is mature and prudent, well, I do judge people by their appearance.

Of course, if it wasn't for this, he wouldn't know Bill, a union lawyer, and if he didn't know Bill, Russell, to Frank, was just a suspected gas station owner who couldn't even ask for his name. Then Russell, the biggest person in Frank's life, appeared. I've always thought that Russell was more important to Frank than Jimmy in any way. So I actually wonder what Frank would do if one day he had to point his gun at Russell.

The first time Russell saved Frank's life was from Angelo. The private work was not checked clearly, and Russell was not informed. At that time, Frank was just a house painter, and Russell owed Philadelphia boss Angelo a favor for him, which was quite a face. Of course, it's also because Angelo and him have a good personal relationship. After all, before giving Frank the third ring many years later, they were the only two who wore the same ring. Then Frank killed his employer himself to do the cutting. Years later, Russell used the same method to save Frank's life again, and he had to do it himself to protect himself, but this time it was Jimmy.

Frank would be recommended to Jimmy. In fact, it shows Russell's trust in him from another aspect, and this trust has not changed. Frank obviously got closer to Jimmy in the later period, but Russell kept him until the last moment. This is after he publicly expressed his support for Jimmy at his awards dinner in front of many bigwigs. In fact, it is conceivable that in the internal meeting of the boss, Russell stood up and said that Frank was my person.

Like Russell's trust, Frank gained his trust quickly after getting along with Jimmy. With Jimmy's fiery temper, can you imagine what kind of person could make him come out to comfort you when he was in a rage. When Frank came out wearing a coat and said, I'm quitting, you can't scold me like that. Jimmy, who was clapping the table a second ago, actually said, I didn't say you, I didn't see you, how could I say that about you. Just about to say darling.

And it was Jimmy who really brought Frank to the front desk. It was he who made Frank go from a house painter to a union president. Talent gradually got the qualification to hold the awards dinner, which is why Frank asked Jimmy to give him the award, not Russell.

In the matter of killing Jimmy, Frank was very tangled before and after. But when it was killed, the audience couldn't react, so Lao Ma gave a long-term freeze-frame picture of the corpse after the event, everyone slowed down first.

Russell said that you were asked to do it because you couldn't help but to do it, and if you weren't asked to do it, you would definitely help Jimmy. It has been said very modestly. In fact, if you don't participate, you will end up the same as him. Because you bind yourself too tightly to him. You can only do the cutting if you do it yourself. Same as when I first rescued you.

The movie was filmed until everyone was in peace, and Frank himself was getting old. It's like putting a stop to everything.
