Because of "Cloud Atlas" - insights and classic lines

This can be regarded as my insight after reading Yuntu. "Cloud Atlas" brought tears to my eyes, and it will eventually accompany me on my way.
Because I met "Cloud Atlas", my life has now turned in a new direction. Just like the original words in "Cloud Atlas": at every intersection, every encounter, there is a new or potential direction.
I watched "Cloud Atlas" because of my curiosity about the name and my interest in sci-fi movies, so it was unexpected that I cried a lot after watching it. There are many insights from the past, and they all slipped away without writing them down immediately, just like the melody of "Cloud Atlas Sextet" in the dream of an old composer.
When a boy cried like this, I should have laughed at myself before, but I don’t know if I can still cry with sincerity, piety, and insight in the future, so I don’t want to cry because of this. Just cry.
After reading "Cloud Atlas", I deeply felt how small, humble and insignificant I am compared to this world and the entire universe, but I am convinced that "our life is not our own, from the womb to the grave, we are We are closely connected with other people. Whether in the past or in this life, every evil deed and every good deed will determine our future rebirth.”
The rebirth here should be a person, and the influence of what he does in this life will have on the future. This influence is far-reaching and indelible. When our will affects others, then this will will be passed down, just like inheritance - it is fate and responsibility. I take it as a belief—a belief I hold on to all the time—that every act of kindness, every act of evil we do, is related to others, to all things, and will affect the course of this world.
I am as humble as a drop of water and a grain of sand. I believe that even a drop of water inherits the will of the sea, and a grain of sand also inherits the faith of the mountains. In this world, all things are closely related, and I and you are the same.
The world I live in is also the world you live in. Maybe I can't find myself in your pupils, but I can see the same thing in mine in your eyes.
I saw a problem that I couldn't let go of for a long time. The problem is that if you have a button in front of you and you press it, two things happen: 1. Somewhere in the world, someone you don't know dies. 2. You will get $1 million. will you press?
I thought about it for a long time, really for a long time, for the $1 million, I hesitated for a long time, yes, in the end I chose not to press it. When someone asked me why, I didn't answer at the time, just kept silent because I didn't know why. If a person you don’t know dies, countless people die every day on earth, and more than 6 billion people, there is a 1 in 6 billion probability that someone you don’t know around will die. Why not press it? In front of Wan, do you still pretend to be noble?
After reading "Cloud Atlas", I thought of this question again, and now I understand that giving up has nothing to do with nobility, 1 million, it is just money, just money. This question is only a question for diaosi like us. Ask Bill Gates, ask Li Ka-shing, even if you lose a person with millions of assets, is this still a problem? Through our own efforts, we may earn 1 million, 10 million, or even 100 million, so why bother killing people?
"Our lives are not our own. From the womb to the grave, we are closely connected with other people. Whether in the past or in this life, every evil deed and every good deed will determine our future rebirth.
" Solidarity, not to mention people.

"Cloud Atlas" is a good spiritual teacher, in which most human emotions can be found and enlightened.
Love, family affection, friendship, desire, belief, human nature, greed, trust, doubt, desire, truth, goodness and beauty and falsehood and ugliness are vividly displayed in the film. All these emotions and desires, like stars, make up The dazzling starry sky, good and evil, right and wrong, are indispensable.
Since adolescence, each of us has been confused, and the confusion about the future path seems to gradually become clear as we are about to take the college entrance examination, but we have to accept the fact that we can't call ourselves teenagers, but young people. Do you feel how precious the word "juvenile" is! The young man is mad, the youth is full of color, and the young man has not yet distinguished between the sea and the sky. But time is indeed passing, just like the time span when the six stories in "Cloud Atlas" are interspersed, we can't grasp it, let alone stop it.
From 1849 to 2144, six stories, each independent as a whole, but closely related and inextricably linked. There are many characters in it, and the relationship among them is quite complicated. I have to admire the logical thinking ability of the original author of the novel. If these six stories are analyzed, and the characters are listed one by one, there is no tens of thousands of words. The reviews are not good enough.
There is also the issue of the quality of this film, some people think it is a masterpiece, some people think it is garbage, hehe, the list of films that are overrated by the Chinese also include "The Pianist at Sea", "The Shawshank Redemption", and "Inception". In any case, "Cloud Atlas" has deeply influenced me and reshaped my spiritual world. "Cloud Atlas" is my teacher.
The film review of "Cloud Atlas" is now in my powerless mind, and I dare not write rashly. If I don't write it well, it will be tarnished. For the time being, let's list the classic lines in "Cloud Atlas". When you see "Cloud Atlas", you must not just watch it once.

The composer, who likes Ben Whishaw the most, decided to commit suicide that evening. When he thought it was impossible to be more perfect, he saw a scene of lovers coming from a distance close at hand but not deciding to go forward. I may not understand whether it is due to the artist's stubbornness or the oppression of the world, but this plot is always wet before people have time to sigh.

The idea is very good, but there are still some shortcomings in the shooting, so I can't say it.

Cloud Atlas quotes

  • Robert Frobisher: [narrating] Dinner of pheasant with Bordeaux rich as buttercream. How I love to listen to men of distinguished lives sing of past follies and glories. The only broken note in the entire evening was Ayrs' wife, Jocasta, excusing herself early. Sensed the buried bone. Later I asked Ayrs about it, he said Kesselring had introduced Jocasta to him. I pried, had Kesselring been in love with her. The subject was a prickly one.

Vyvyan Ayrs: Jocasta was a Jew. Obviously the relationship was impossible.

    Robert Frobisher: Why obviously?

Vyvyan Ayrs: Can you really be so ignorant of what is happening in Germany?

Robert Frobisher: [continues narration] At this point in my life all I know, Sixsmith, is that this world spins from the same unseen forces that twist our hearts.

  • Sonmi-451: That ship... that ship must be destroyed.

    Hae-Joo Chang: Yes.

Sonmi-451: The systems that built them must be torn down.

    Hae-Joo Chang: Yes.

Sonmi-451: No matter if we're born in a tank or a womb, we are all Pureblood.

    Hae-Joo Chang: Yes.

Sonmi-451: We must all fight and, if necessary, die to teach people the truth.

Hae-Joo Chang: This is what we have been waiting for.
