To get a haircut, or to die

Definitely bought because of Johnny Depp. I like his theatrical performance style, and there will always be emotional resentment in his eyes. "Sweeney Todd" is tailor-made for his temperament.
The judge fell in love with the barber's daughter-in-law, and the frame-up began. The barber was exiled to Australia for 15 years, his wife committed suicide, and the infant daughter was imprisoned. After 15 years, the barber returned to London and changed his name to Todd, and the revenge plan kicked off at the barber shop above the pulp pie shop. Todd's death in the upstairs was immediate, and the pulp pie shop has been crowded since then...
a story with a simple routine, an American version of "Dragon Inn". "Sweeney Todd" obviously doesn't have such powerful buying points as "Dragon Inn"'s gold inlaid jade and stunts, and Depp's singing skills, knife skills, and dead man costumes from beginning to end also give people a thunderous audio-visual experience ...

The whole film is presented in the form of a musical, refreshing, and the picture performance is very dim. In order to take revenge, Todd eventually became a murderer, killing his enemy and accidentally killing his wife, and was eventually killed by his own razor. The ending was really a Bad Ending.

Dark.Blood.Cool. The story is a bit simpler, but the whole dark harmony and the appearance of the opera are amazing. The genius of Tim Burton is always unique.

Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street quotes

  • Mrs. Lovett: So what are we gonna do about the boy?

    Sweeney Todd: Send him up!

Mrs. Lovett: No, Mr. T. Surely one's enough for today. Besides, I was thinking of hiring the lad to help me run the shop. Your poor knees aren't what they used to be.

    Sweeney Todd: All right.

Mrs. Lovett: Of course, we're gonna have to stock up on the gin. Boy's drinking like a sailor.

  • Judge Turpin: I have news for you, my friend. In order to shield her from the evils of this world, I have decided to marry my dear Johanna.

Beadle: Ah, sir, happy news indeed.

Judge Turpin: Strange, though, when I offered myself to her, she showed a certain reluctance.

Beadle: [sings] Excuse me, my lord. / May I request, my lord, / Permission, my lord, to speak? / Forgive me if I suggest, my lord, / You're looking less than your best, my lord, / There's powder upon your vest, my lord, / And stubble upon your cheek. / And ladies, my lord, are weak.

Judge Turpin: Stubble, you say? Perhaps I am a little overhasty in the morning.

Beadle: [sings] Fret not though, my lord, / I know a place, my lord, / A barber, my lord, of skill. / Thus armed with a shaven face, my lord, / Some eau de cologne to brace my lord / And musk to enhance the chase, my lord, / You'll dazzle the girl until...

    Judge Turpin: Until?

Beadle: [sings] She bows to your every will.
