After watching Breaking Bad last year, I was very impressed with the role of Saul. I originally thought of waiting for his spin-off drama to finish and then watch it in one go, but I couldn't help watching it first. The first season was an important transition period for Jimmy to become the later Saul.
The difference between Saul and Walt in Poison Master is quite big. Walt, like an honest and responsible person, suddenly burst out the evil side in his heart under the stimulation of the outside world. Jimmy has been a clever, bad guy from the start. But this season, Jimmy really wants to be on the right track. Jimmy eventually became Saul, thanks to his brother Chuck. Although someone like Jimmy, if he actually became a lawyer, would probably do some bad things. So Chuck is worried about this and I totally understand. But as his older brother, what Chuck should do is let Jimmy enter the law firm and give him some correct guidance, not to get in the way, not to do things in person and behind the scenes. I think Chuck is a morally clean and conceited person. If Jimmy enters the firm and becomes his colleague, it will greatly hurt his sense of superiority. So he wants to block it in every possible way. Because of Chuck's role model, Jimmy was in awe of the legal profession at first. It was not easy for him to pass the bar exam through the online class, and it wasn't a joke like Chuck said. But also because of Chuck, the evil in Jimmy's heart finally defeated the justice.
