When I watched a star is born a year ago, I didn't really get why Jackson, a musician used to be successful why ended up in such a bad situation, has to paralyze himself with alcohol and drug to survive a day. But now I'm going through the same stage, I started to understand what it feels like to lose the gravity of your life. In his desperation he found Ally and thought Ally could be the one save him out of trouble, I think the same way that I need someone to save me out of this dilemma, but in the end no one actually can save any one if man itself can't find its gravity back, so Jackson finally gone with tragedy even though Ally love him so much. So that someone was not the thing you need but yourself get you out of the trouble, to find yourself a new goal, even it means to give up all the success you have achieved, otherwise it's just an dead loop, until now I know this film is not really about Ally, not really tell a star is born but a star to fall out, the tragedy of Jackson who couldn't save himself.
