The characters of these two rivals seem to be mutually reinforcing, Kester is crazy and arrogant, Sean is calm and low-key and rational, and after their face changes, it seems that one person's personality has completely changed, evoking another opposite personality. Every time they faced each other, it was like a completely opposite self in the depths of their hearts, as if they were not facing an enemy, but a self they didn’t know. They also accomplished what the other lacked by changing their faces. Sean deceived the inmate who wanted to avenge his wife and daughter on both sides of the prison, comforted and made up for one of Kester's women, protected and gave Kester's son, and eventually adopted his son. Kester also seemed to have a trace of repentance at the tomb of Sean's son Mike, comforting Sean's wife, adjusting the conflict between Sean and his daughter, teaching Dengzi for his daughter, and teaching her self-defense. In these places, I feel that the distance between the two is not so far away, but there is some blending and complementarity. Such two people are old enemies. The "face-changing" plot in this film reminded me of the second finale of "Sherlock", where Sherlock used Disguise to transform Moriarty into his own image, instead of his own death. These two are also real enemies. perhaps! These two people are very similar in essence but absolutely different.
