This is John Woo's pinnacle in Hollywood. Double male protagonists, gunfights, and violent aesthetics are what he is good at. The two male protagonists Nicolas Cage and John Travolta contributed their peak acting skills. They speculate on the personalities of the two characters and imitate each other. The speed and frequency of gestures, posture and speech should be consistent. On the plane, Nicholas Cage ghostly stuck out his tongue, and John Travolta peeked page after page of "wife"'s diary. John Travolta, with high acting skills, is too suitable for acting as a bad guy, with bad water in his stomach, bones, and eyes. Just like Wan Ziliang's style, playing a decent and good person always seems a little restrained. And Nicolas Cage is a bit evil in itself. In addition, we can see some familiar scenes, John Woo-style movies, classic slow motion, white doves, churches, black suits. It's like watching a Hollywood version of a Hong Kong-style gangster movie.
