Flowers, white pigeons, gunfire, music, all constitute a melodious poem. "Changing Faces" has a high degree of completion, with both ups and downs in the plot, as well as poetry permeating the whole film, such as the carousel at the beginning and the little fireworks. .
In the poetic ups and downs, in fact, the two protagonists are people who are tricked by fate. The policeman took his son away from the criminal, and since then he has been bent on revenge, and his family has been neglected. After the success of revenge, fate suddenly hit him again, and the small task became a trap of murder everywhere. On the other hand, the criminal, fate also backfired for him. Get the face of a cop, move up the ranks in the police system and become a hero in the eyes of the public. But so what? In the end, everything is lost. Is this not life? Life, destiny, backfire is its true nature.
"Changing Face" also revealed a reality through the plot and lines: people live with masks. In the movie, after changing faces, the criminal wears the mask of a hero and the policeman wears the mask of a vicious terrorist. He wants to get rid of the mask, but in the eyes of others, he enjoys the mask. In real life, why isn't everyone wearing a mask?
