If everyone has a child in their heart, then no doubt when watching magic, the child in the heart will come out to find out, and try to take a chance and dismantle all the magician's ghost tricks to prove that he will not be caught. A magician fooled. But often it is not until the end that we realize that what we cannot escape is only fate.
A person, a chair, was sweating profusely while sitting on the stage, as if he was doing everything he could, and then a large group of people surrounded him, I was in a fog, and then the inspector came to His Royal Highness's office. Inside the house, as if there is something to say, the memory begins... The film begins our feature film with such a question-filled interlude.
Warm and dark colors, retro streets, old-fashioned costumes, an old man performed magic for a child under a tree, flowers turned into flutes and finally vanished, which changed the child's life. The mysterious atmosphere is immediately brought out, and has been haunting the work from beginning to end.
1. Can love transcend the boundaries of time and space?
Judging from the love trilogy of the male and female protagonists (acquaintance, falling in love, and staying together), love is really not easy to come by. It has to face the test of class gap, the test of space separation, and the test of time. There is a test of "life and death", and even a very clever "magic" needs to be designed to fool everyone into it. But there are so many difficulties and obstacles. When the hero (Eisenheim) and the heroine (Sophie) embrace each other again at the end of the film, people can't help but cry.
2. Do rights take precedence over fairness and justice?
There is such a detective in the film, he will check his props because he is curious about the magic of the male protagonist (Eisenheim), he will look for the male protagonist (Eisenheim) again and again and warn him not to play tricks in front of His Highness , He was obedient to His Highness's promises and obeyed orders. He had tried his best to maintain His Highness, because in this way he could be promoted and reused. However, when the evidence appeared one by one and gradually confirmed his conjecture, he would rather give up everything before, for the sake of justice. It was also at this time that the inspector broke through his previous image and really got a sublimation.
3. After learning that all these are designed traps, then who should be responsible for the death of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince?
In fact, I am very entangled in this point. Yes, I really hate His Royal Highness, but if he is not guilty of death, then who will be responsible for his death? I thought about it carefully and found that what the director arranged here is that the crown prince "suicide"! Suicide, yes, suicide. In this way, in that social context, neither the male or female lead nor the detective has legal responsibility. The crown prince has become a "stepping stone on the road to happiness". Here, I think that although most people's psychological expectations are met, that is: good people live long and bad people are everywhere. But it does leave a question worth exploring.
In general, this is a work worth watching, it is fascinating, and it moves around in a calm place. At the end, I can only sigh. I didn't expect that this "game" was set up a bit big!
The above are my feelings and thoughts after watching the entire work. There are flaws and imprecise places, and I hope you will give pointers. Thanks for watching.
