The Town

The Town, 2010. It's basically an action movie type, and some plots are strung between several robbery scenes, and the rhythm is good. The director of the film is actually the male protagonist Ben Affleck. The director is quite young and handsome, with good acting skills, and the standard of the film is also very high. Charleston, the Irish community, the bank robbery business for generations, what a lovely area, the more the better. Use your imagination, and you can't think of a more evil demon than a bank.

Look at the extended version. Seeing sleepy many times, the rhythm is too procrastinated. It's basically an even staggered relationship between a romantic scene and a robbery scene, and there is no sense of hierarchy. The characters are single, and the story itself is nothing new. Even if some real events were really found to be incorporated into the story, the director did not give them the meaning they deserved.

I cried so hard when the ending song played. One of the sunny days. This ending is enough.

The Town quotes

  • Doug MacRay: I need your help. I can't tell you what it is, you can never ask me about it later, and we're gonna hurt some people.

James Coughlin: ...Whose car are we gonna' take?

  • Claire Keesey: Did you say your name was Jim or Gem?

James Coughlin: Well, huh, it's kinda both. The teacher's use to always say, "Here take this one. He's a gem."
