The screenwriter is really good. Every detail makes the audience follow the director. When it stops and runs, when you are confident enough to take for granted, it breaks the routine you thought it was. Omg! Especially when Nicholas jumped at the end, I believe that all the audience have been deceived. When we thought it was the end, the truth was pulled away.
Of course, the most attractive thing is the plot, but the rhythm of the film is well controlled, allowing the plot to unfold clearly and at the same time unsettling.
