Life is like a play, Reivew on The Game

In fact, in this film, the director seems to be explaining such a theme: life itself is a game, and in this game, it may experience earth-shaking changes, from billionaires to homeless or even greater contrasts. People are very vulnerable and they are like a chess piece at the mercy of others, ravaged but powerless.
But I think the real director is ourselves and our desire. The earth-shaking changes come from desire itself, because desire can never be satisfied.
