From the sci-fi part of interstellar travel, the special effects in the movie theater are still good, and the special effects of the hero and heroine saving the spacecraft at the end are also good. It's just that in my opinion, the setting of the sci-fi part is nothing new, and the story is just a small accident on the journey. But for us, no matter how long the journey is, it is only a small part of our life, and in the movie the proportion is completely reversed. Our lives are just a small piece of this journey. In this case, this smallness and loneliness is devastating for us humans. I can understand the behavior of the male protagonist to wake up the female protagonist in order not to make himself lonely, but I do not agree with it. Can you sacrifice someone else to ease your loneliness? That must be wrong. Is it right to wake up only the female lead because the male lead didn't wake up everyone? Killing one person and killing everyone is wrong. Because in order to relieve one's loneliness, it is wrong to wake up others even when knowing that they will hurt others, whether male or female, this kind of behavior is wrong. I haven't experienced the kind of loneliness that the male protagonist experiences, and I can't say for sure that I can endure loneliness and live well by myself. But, at least in my imagination, I think I can endure loneliness without hurting others. I just think that if we can't even imagine that we don't hurt others, then it is very likely that a little misfortune or disappointment will ignite dark thoughts in our hearts. So at least we can stay kind in the face of our imaginary difficulties, so that we can stay kind for a while longer in the face of real difficulties.
So I don't agree with the male protagonist's behavior, but I will not condemn it too much, and I have nothing to comment on the emotional entanglement between the male and female protagonists. No matter what the heroine's decision is, she has her reasons, as long as it is her decision.
When I saw this movie in theaters before, I felt cheated at first, because it really couldn't compare to the science fiction movies like Star Trek that I wanted to see. However, after I came into contact with more science fiction novels, I didn't have so much entanglement and anger about this movie. Because many science fiction novels are actually just borrowed from a science fiction setting, the story itself is still the story of human society. And this movie still feels good in terms of human nature.
