He sat alone in the sunset, with his head bowed to the ground

The most unacceptable drama

After watching Godfather 3, it was the one with the greatest staying power, and the end was the most embarrassing.

It's hard to imagine that the stubborn young son Mike will end up sitting alone in the sunset and falling to the ground without anyone to accompany him.

Mike's change in the three films Al Pacino played too well? The first one was a dashing and proud war hero at the beginning. He had no intention of thinking about a better future for his family business and his girlfriend, Kai. In Sicily, where there are fond memories, he witnessed his wife being bombed to death. All are stripping away the kindness, trust, and humanity that ate away at him. In the end, he had to really take over the Corleone family and work hard to realize his father's last wish. You can clearly see the change in the eyes and temperament. In the third part, it may also be because of Al Pacino's growing age, Mike is actually a little kinder, the second part is basically unsmiling, cruel and decisive, and the third part is a lot of him. Laughs and looks at his child like a normal father. When he lay seriously ill in bed, his once bright eyes were blinded by vulnerability and loneliness.

The first generation is the inevitable result of struggle, the third generation is actively hiding in the dark, and the second generation is really changing and stepping into the abyss step by step. Even though the second generation had extraordinary talents and abilities, the state of their hands when they first stained blood was more flustered than that of the first and third generations. Mike has been working hard to legalize the family business since he accepted the family business, but he couldn't get the understanding of his loved ones, or it was difficult to be accepted. He can end up alone and grow old, his second brother betrayed and ordered to kill his brother by himself, his daughter was accidentally killed and fell in front of his eyes, his wife would never forgive him... The people he loves and those who love him are no longer with him.

?I can't see this kind of late plot anyway, I think of Wolverine 3.

The Godfather: Part III quotes

  • Don Altobello: I must accept my age, and grow my olives and tomatoes.

  • Michael Corleone: I, uh, betrayed my wife. I betrayed myself. I've killed men, and I ordered men to be killed. No, it's useless. I killed... I ordered the death of my brother; he injured me. I killed my mother's son. I killed my father's son.
