I don't watch many movies, but I really like this kind of war movies. Maybe it's because I liked World War II when I was very young. Strictly speaking, there are only two movies about urban street fighting that I have seen in bursts, one is "Bold on the City" and the other is "Black Hawk Down". The former is a hero, the latter is a team, the former is a sniper hiding in the ruins, the latter is a group of rangers who collide left and right, the former has an equally good sniper enemy, the latter It was the raging militias and urban poor of Somalia. Although the two perform from different angles, they both truly show the audience the thrill and cruelty of urban street battles. Can you imagine that feeling? It is possible to shoot deadly bullets in every ruin in the city, you don't know how many enemies there are, you don't know where the enemies are, one second you can kill someone, the next second you can be killed by someone else, just like In the movie, a soldier said, "When the first bullet is fired, all the bullshit is left behind." Every individual here becomes a living target for others, others are their own targets, and they are also others' targets. The goal, sadly, this is war. Although death cannot be avoided, sometimes, when we need to sacrifice our lives, we will throw away all the shit and take up guns to fight without asking why.
Maybe the moment before death is frightening, it can make people terrified, maybe death is just a matter of a second, maybe life is over before you even come and feel the pain, that way it can be relieved.
May the light of peace last forever, but when we need to fight, let us take up arms and fight for the glory of our nation!
