Talking only about movies, dispersing the army is the biggest mistake

The original plan was to finish the task in half an hour.

1. The Delta Force led by Sanderson entered the building to capture the prisoners.

2. Four squads of Rangers led by Steele established defense lines at the four corners of the building.

3. The convoy of Humvees led by McKnight was responsible for the retreat with prisoners and soldiers.

4. Helicopter is responsible for air cover.

The plan is perfect, but surprises follow.

Crisis 1 : As soon as the plane departed from the base, it was discovered by Somali spies and passed it to the commander via mobile phone, and a large group of militiamen was quickly assembled.

Crisis 2: Because of avoiding the RPG, the plane swayed, causing Blackburn to fail to grasp the rope and fell and was seriously injured.

Separation 1: In order to escort the seriously injured Blackburn, the Humvee convoy was divided into two, and the Delta Force was also divided into two. Struecker led three Humvees and a team of Delta Forces represented by Hoot took the lead to return to the base. (Result: Returned to base despite heavy casualties.)

Crisis 3: The No. 61 Black Hawk helicopter piloted by Wolcott, who was in charge of air cover, was hit by the tail and crashed.

Separation 2: In order to save the Black Hawk helicopter crew No. 61, the team gathered in the building was divided into five groups, and several groups of people left in batches to go to the crash site, but it was not so easy to reunite after separation. Eversmann's team left first, DiTomasso's team also left, Steel's main Rangers and Sanderson's Delta Force were the third to leave (result: facing the next separation), McKnight's Humvee team left last (result: casualties) Getting lost many times and eventually returning to base), Twombyly and Nelson were both pulled down.

Rendezvous 1: Eversmann Squad, DiTomasso Squad first rendezvous with Blackhawk crash 61.

Crisis 4: The Black Hawk helicopter No. 64 piloted by Durant, who replaced No. 61, also crashes.

Dispatch 1: Struecker leads a team of three Humvees and Hoot's agent Delta Force to re-set out to find the second crash site (result: facing the next separation).

Dispatch 2: Delta Force Shughart and Gordon on the helicopter volunteered to assist in the second crash site (result: two commandos killed, pilot captured)

Crisis 5: The main rangers led by Steel suffered heavy casualties.

Separation 3: In order to protect the wounded, the main force of the Rangers led by Steel stayed behind (result: unable to move forward, and finally left with the new rescue), the main force of the Delta Special Forces led by Sanderson and some of the Rangers went to the crash site first.

Crisis 6: The Humvee cannot get close to the second crash site because of the roadblock.

Separation 4: The Delta team led by Hoot left the Humvee and approached the second crash site on foot (result: no personnel were found, then turned to the first crash site).

Convergence 2: The main Delta Force and some Rangers led by Sanderson, as well as Twombyly and Nelson, successfully reached the first crash site.

Rendezvous 3: The Delta team led by Hoot successfully reached the first crash point (result: hold the position, and finally leave with the new rescue).

Dispatch 3: A joint convoy with Pakistani peacekeepers led by McKnight departed from the base.

Reunion 4: The main Rangers led by Steel reunite with the United Convoy.

Convergence 5: The joint convoy successfully reached the first crash site and all members retreated.

Underestimating the enemy from top to bottom may be the biggest mistake. The intelligence is inaccurate, the command level is complex, the terrain is unfamiliar, and the equipment is discarded at will. But the biggest mistake, I think, is to let the ground troops set out in batches to rescue the first crash. Although not abandoning any one person is worth moving, but in order to save one person and catch more people, what is it worth moving. On the Somali side, ordinary people do not understand the meaning of the existence of the peacekeeping force. All the people, including the elderly, women and children, have participated in the war, which makes the justice of the peacekeeping force appear blurred. Although a tribal leader who likes to slaughter is a disaster, killing this leader will only lead to the next tribal chaos.

The whole film is very documentary. The biggest disadvantage is that there are too many characters and they are not carefully portrayed. In the end, I can't remember who is who. Some people say that the director did this on purpose, because these are small ordinary people.

Looked at the starring list, a total of 7 people.

1. Josh Hartnett. (played the second male Danny in "Pearl Harbor")

As Eversmann, the temporary captain of the fourth team, because the captain had a sudden epilepsy and was ordered in danger, the first accidental drop of a recruit happened right under his eyes, and he was also the first to set out to rescue the first crashed plane. He was very flustered when his comrades died that night, but he couldn't show it in front of his teammates, and finally chose to stay away from the battlefield.

2. Ewan McGregor. (played the male lead Ed in "Big Fish", the male lead Raiden in "Trainspotting", and the male lead Christian in "Moulin Rouge")

As Grimesy, he is a dedicated typist in the military. Although he has participated in many wars, he is responsible for the writing work in the rear every time. This time, because his comrade-in-arms sprained his wrist while playing ping pong, he temporarily replaced him in the Ranger battle. He was almost hit by RPG many times, and he was lucky to escape every time. Follow Sanderson as the third ground force to reach the first crash site.

3. Tom Sizemore. (played the second male Horvth in "Saving Private Ryan")

As McKnight, he is the on-site commander of the Humvee convoy. Due to the chaotic and lagging route command, the casualties were heavy. He gave up the rescue teammates and returned to the base first. After a few hours, he volunteered to follow the coalition convoy to start again, and finally rescued all the wounded.

4. Eric Bana. (played Henry in "The Time Traveler's Wife" and Avner in "Munich")

As Hoot, he is one of the backbones of the Delta Special Forces. He once disguised himself and went deep into the area to obtain information. After witnessing the first sacrificed teammate, he took the initiative to take over his job. When encountering a roadblock, he offered to get off and walk, and successfully reached the second crash. The aircraft point and the first crash point comforted Eversmann when he was worried. The three dialogues between the two were also the few highlights of the film, and they finally decided to continue participating in the war in order to save their teammates. His flexible thinking, outstanding ability, and clear goals make him one of the most intriguing characters in the film.

5. William Fichtner. (played Alex in the American drama "Prison Break")

As Sanderson, he is the on-site commander of the Delta Special Forces. After subduing the prisoners, he and the Rangers go to the first crash site. Because of the conflict between the speed of action and the Rangers' on-site commander Steele, they decide to reach the first crash site first.

6. Ewen Bremner. (played the second male potato in "Trainspotting")

Play as Nelson, a soldier of the Fourth Squad. When the main force of the fourth team led by Eversmann set off for the first crash site, Nelson and Twombyly were responsible for staying behind, and then they were forgotten by the main force of the Rangers. They encountered Yurek who was left behind.

7. Sam Shepard.

Play Garrison, the commander-in-chief of operations. Due to underestimation of the enemy and confusion of command, resulting in heavy casualties in the operation, he resigned after taking full responsibility for the operation.
