Even if there are cultural differences, the narrative itself is really wonderful. The exorcism at the end is amazing, but I prefer the subtle paving in the first half, because the unexplainable reality is the most terrifying, and the director is very good at setting the tone of reality. In order to create a sense of abnormality to form a mysterious atmosphere, combined with the existing social and cultural basis to set off the theme, this is a horror film rather than a patchwork of scare and scare plots. Moreover, the performance, lighting, makeup, and sound effects of this film are all excellent.

This 1973 horror film, from today's perspective, is really not terrifying! But it does not affect the status of this classic movie in the film world! The plot, rhythm, and sound effects are now outdated! The exorcist is not a powerful god, but a belief in God! The struggle between God and the Devil is not only a simple confrontation, but even a spiritual struggle! With the devil, with yourself!
