In times of war and chaos, good wishes in my heart

What impressed me the most about this film was not the magical country of Narnia that the director had made great efforts to create,
nor the lion "Aslan", which represented the highest level of virtual 3D visual technology in the world at that time
, but rather At the beginning of the film, the family flees to the cellar during the air raid.
Put yourself in your shoes and think about it, when the enemy planes drop bombs over the city you live in, it
is possible to move the home you have worked for your whole life to flattened at any time,
but you can only hide in the dark cellar, without a trace of light. ...
how does that feel like? I am afraid that we who live in peaceful times have had a hard time understanding.
I don't remember the name of the original author, but I guess that the author should also be someone who has experienced the war years.
His motivation for writing this novel is probably those who are in the same war as him and are helpless,
hoping that the war will pass soon . good wishes.
However, a wish is a wish, and the reality of war is still faced in return,
just like the four children who came of age in Narnia and returned to their childhood from the wardrobe.
But as a person who believes in dreams,
I still want to say to the returning children: "I believe in you!"
I sincerely hope that there will be no more wars in this world,
because no one should endure the pain caused by wars.

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe quotes

  • Jadis The White Witch: You have a traitor in your midst, Aslan.

Aslan: His offense was not against you.

Jadis The White Witch: Have you forgotten the laws upon which Narnia has been built?

Aslan: [almost a roar] Do not cite the Deep Magic to me, Witch. I was there when it was written.

Jadis The White Witch: Then you'll remember well that every traitor belongs to me. His blood is my property

Peter Pevensie: [pulls out his sword] Try and take him then.

Jadis The White Witch: Do you really think that mere force will deny me my right little king? Aslan knows that in this, I had blood as the law demands. All of Narnia will be overturned and perish in fire and water. That boy will die on the stone table... as is tradition. You dare not to refuse me.

Aslan: Enough. I shall talk with you alone.

  • Aslan: She has renounced her claim on the Son of Adam's blood.

    [Everybody cheers]

Jadis The White Witch: How do I know your promise will be kept?

    [Aslan roars]
