Let's talk about the superstar of director Michael Mann. The most famous are "The Last of the Mohicans", "Heat" and "The Insider". Absolutely top-notch film director, this eccentric has a well-known quirk of having a 1911 .45 caliber pistol in every film he makes (that's Tom's sidearm in this one!). This film uses the shell of a police and bandit film to explore the issues of ethics and interpersonal alienation through the dialogue between the two. The lights of the dark night market bring out the sense of desertification in the city. The joy of survival is as scarce as water. The words are very bleak (careful): Don't tell others that I am dead, do you remember the boy who died on the subway a while ago? The people who got on and off the bus for 6 hours didn't realize that he was dead. This TMD city is so indifferent.
Ah Tang is lackluster in this film, acting as pale as his deliberately dyed hair. I feel that he is more and more like Andy Lau in the United States, and he is only handsome.
Jamie Foxx, on the other hand, is a brilliant, promising man. The cohesion, naturalness, and explosion of his acting are all beyond the realm of transcendence. Without him, this movie would be much less interesting.
