Everything that happens in "Magic Cinderella" is related to a spell. We can understand it as a metaphor about the conflict between what you don't like to do in life and your own inner yearning. The heroine is no longer a kind and weak person, waiting for the rescue of a prince. On the contrary, she is extremely strong and always strives for everything that belongs to her. In the end, she succeeded, she found herself and her prince.
In a fantasy kingdom, every newborn child will get a gift from fairies. The fairy who gave Ella a gift was Lucinda, and she was a queer-tempered fairy who was completely self-sufficient. Little Ella drenched Lucinda's clothes untimely, prompting her to have a weird idea, she decided to give Ella the gift of "obedience." Whenever and wherever, as long as someone asks Ella to do something with an order, she must do it immediately, even if the order is for her to cut off her head. In order to protect her daughter, Ella's mother concealed the truth from her husband, and kept the secret together with the ordinary fairy Mandy. Unfortunately, my mother died of illness one day. On the way, the kind-hearted Ella rescued Slane the elf who was being bullied. The enthusiastic Slane brings Ella to the Elf tribe. These elves can sing and dance, but under the current regime they are only treated as dolls and receive no respect. Slane has his own dream, he wants to be a lawyer. Ella suggested that Slane go directly to Lamia, where the palace is located, to meet the prince. Because they were on the same road, the two went together.
Unfortunately, the two were again besieged by cannibals. The cannibals are also full of hatred for the current regime, because it robbed them of their peace and tranquility and falsely accused them of killing the former king. At the end of the day, Prince Charles, who was patrolling here, arrived in time and performed a heroic rescue beautifully. This is their second meeting. The two talked further, and Ella gradually gave up the impression that Char and the uncle of the modern king Char were in the same stratagem, and Char also became more aware of Ella’s utopian political ideals. The two-person team then has the participation of a third person.
When they came to the tribe of giants, they were very surprised, because the giants here have been forced to become capable slaves of mankind. So Char's uncle ordered Ella to insert a dagger into Char's heart when Charl proposed to her. The most powerful spell and the most powerful human emotion-love, wrestle in secret. The narrative structure of the film seems to slightly downplay the importance of personal beliefs that it emphasized from the beginning. It is reported that many fans of the original book have expressed fierce criticism of this. As far as my own movie-watching experience is concerned, kindness, firmness, friends, fantasy world, prince and Cinderella, and humor are enough factors to keep this film in my brain for a long time and to taste joy.
