1. I'm a big fan of this show.
2. I deeply dislike some parts of the traditional Chinese social concept and family concept, and these should also be resisted together.
The story structure of this drama is simple and clear, it is a story between three families and a family of relatives. You can think of it as a soap opera in terms of storytelling alone, but the values it preaches are quite politically correct. This show tells us what a family is and what a family should be like. It's not as lacking in thought as some Chinese family ethics dramas, and the comedy is played into a bloody ending. A successful middle-aged husband with three wives and four concubines, the old man in the family either lives alone in the empty room, cries, makes trouble, hangs himself, or gets drunk, and seeks the meaning of existence by disrupting the lives of the next generation. . . . · ·To be continued
