As ordinary people in the internet age, we all pretend and show off when we are shooting, not to mention artists and internet celebrities. When I usually shoot a documentary, I always feel embarrassed and alienated when I hold a camera to communicate with people, and the person being filmed will be subconsciously defensive and overwhelmed.
At the beginning of the film, the person behind the camera held it up to shoot a naked sleeping girlfriend, which is called recording sweet love if it sounds good, or an invasion of privacy if it sounds ugly (don’t forget how many pornographic video doors come from) Including themselves taunting what would happen if this video were posted online
However, the man with the camera did not stop filming when his friend was facing death threats, death, need help, and even when he was about to be taken away by the monster. Run away. But he did it only to let more people see the video, and he thought he could change something by recording it from a first-person perspective. Just imagine if this video is not found in the end and continues to be buried under the reinforced concrete and sees no light, then all what he has done will be meaningless (he can still run faster if he loses this DV player) so His death at the end was ironic.
