Whose youth flows on the arm

Watched the full movie in a dark room and realized it was the best movie I've seen in a year. No matter how flawed the script itself is, whether the ending is perfect, or whether the realm is lofty or not, for me, all of this does not prevent it from passing through the various blockbusters that have been colorful and ups and downs over the past year, reaching directly to my heart, evoking unresolvable complexities emotion.

A world in which life and wealth are measured by time, which seems to be a strange and mysterious world, is just an alienated expression of the way capital exists. When the young man from the bottom, carrying the deep pain of wanting to support his son and not waiting for his family, and a strong self-perception of the whole social structure, meet the rich girl who is immortal and worry-free at the top, the spark of collision is doomed to be inevitable. Time, for Will, is full of warmth, affection, life and death, and everything. The cherishing of every minute and every second shows the preciousness of passing on and entrusting to relatives and friends. The result of growing up and surviving in such a struggle makes poverty, not only the pain of entanglement, but also the deep fear. However, for Sylvia, who was born to enjoy everything, Will's life time is just a luxurious decoration, a dazzling luxury car, and even, it is nothing. His only and her endlessness, his cherishing and her squandering are actually not important. The most cruel thing is that a tick of a clock means a thousand words to him, but she never feels it.

Such a cruel contrast, such a distorted time and space. Compared with the exhausted people at the bottom, it seems that the top is less happy and indifferent, like Sylvia, who is ignorant of the infinite time that they have because they have no concept of contrast. On the contrary, the limitation to protect this undead body is even more huge. of boredom and pain; and the few perceivers, like those who gave Will all the time in the film and begged for death, the eternally young body could not bear the vicissitudes of life; Sylvia's father was rich, but he was lost in the control of time. In the pleasure, the sincere emotion has long been lost; and the Timekeeper, who is wandering between the rich and the poor, hides the blood and tears that have climbed up all the way, but is powerless after understanding the essence of this cruel world.

So there is the hero's struggle day after day to bring his mother to the highest life, and a ticket with an increased price not only takes away his mother in front of him, but also makes him witness the collapse of his dream. Almost in a blink of an eye, he unexpectedly acquired wealth, suddenly faced the double blow of losing his loved ones and his dreams, and then experienced self-realization on the way to high places, sudden wins and instant losses. . . A love affair with the daughter of a chaebol who is tired of an infinite and insensitive life, and who is eager for excitement and rebellion. All these encounters, like the chain of fate, are closely linked to push him to the desperate journey of robbing the rich and helping the poor. I can only say that choosing this path can certainly gain understanding, but there is no way to know how the ending will be, whether the huge amount of time that has been robbed can break the iron law of fate, or will it disappear and become invisible after all; The door, whether it is the way to heaven or Pandora's box, maybe, only God knows.

At the end of the film, when I saw this pair of handsome men and beautiful women marching towards a new battlefield with a vigorous father-killing rebellion, I felt powerlessly that I could no longer be as joyful as when I was a teenager. In my mind, there are only two broken images, Timekeeper's face full of contradictions and fatigue, and Darwin's birthday as a password guard for hundreds of millions of hours. Forgive me for my rash thoughts, the director left the viewers with endless thoughts, and he himself, like the donor sitting on the bridge under the sunset, was deeply troubled and had no solution in the end.

In my mixed feelings, I only felt that in the beating of their arms, what I could clearly see was the passage of time on myself.
