A touching and beautiful fairy tale for adults and children to watch together. I didn't expect it to be a film from 1982~~
Little Elliott (Henry Thomas) discovers a little alien who has been lost by accident. He quietly takes in the little alien and introduces him to his brother and sister. The children get along friendly with the alien, give him chocolate, take him to the suburbs to find traces left by his family, and are excited about the special functions of the little alien. Gradually, a wonderful connection was formed between Elliott and the aliens, overcoming the barrier of verbal communication.
I've watched it on and off many times, and it's been many years ago. It's the first time I've watched the full version. I was a little excited when the bike suddenly took off. Childhood and childhood love dreams belong to childhood stories.
But soon, the existence of aliens was known to adults, and the ruthless pursuit began. ET was caught in the laboratory, and little Elliott was sick. The children were angry, and they organized themselves to rescue the aliens. Elliott also woke up under the inspiration of his heart and joined the rescue operation. Can they succeed?
The film transcends all barriers and touches hearts with a simple but timeless story. The fairy-tale plot and allegorical revelations in the film make the audience laugh and cry.
