"ET" and childhood

A little boy encounters an alien by chance. He takes the alien home and takes good care of him, teaches the alien to "speak", and treats the alien as his best friend without telling his parents. In addition, aliens must have certain "special abilities", such as the ability to fly, to heal all life, and to have a strong learning ability and hands-on ability. While helping the alien "go home", the little boy yearns in his heart to "stay with" the alien forever and grow up with it.

These are probably the true portrayals of many people's childhood. Who hasn't imagined "guests from outside the sky"?

There is almost nothing to say about the plot of this film, it is basically the above-mentioned routine. Of course, this is because the "ET" told by Director Si is his childhood fantasy.

The reason why this film is so important to watch is probably because in the "ocean" of science fiction films around the world, there must be such a film about aliens, which means that its existence is inevitable. Even if Director Spielberg didn't do it, someone else would definitely do it. Even if it's not called "ET", its content must still be the same.

Because the story told by "ET" is a childhood fantasy of many people, and these fantasy in childhood are destined to not come true. Today, however, these fantasies can be reproduced on the big screen, making people "dream come true" while still feeling so warm.

The most important thing is that it is "ET" that a group of children help, not a doctor, not a scientist, but a group of children. They did their best to help "ET" get home. Moving and making us feel as if we were part of it, as if I helped him "come home" with "ET Alien".

There are few such absurd fantasies in the adult world, because everyone is busy with "life" or just "survival", time and reality have smoothed our edges and corners, and also wiped out our childlike innocence. But who can guarantee that when you were a child, you didn't yearn for the stars in the silent night sky?

"ET" belongs to director Spielberg, and it belongs to everyone. Just like "Tiga" in our childhood, I believe that many "post-90s" have "glowed" for "Tiga".

Finally, while admiring the cycling skills of those kids.

What I admire more are the aliens who risked their lives to return to Earth to pick up "ET" and "go home"!
