Basically the whole film is a series of borat skits, short stories with one or two laughs, and long stories with several "events" that last a few minutes. If it is a segment in a TV show, or if you watch it, it will be funny, but if you connect these content with similar laughing methods into a set of movies, there will be no punchy effect like short stories. As for satirizing Americans, to be honest, most of those "played" should be actors. Even if some are not actors, I think film critics are just looking for an angle to write some "in-depth" reviews.
Overall, this is a successful set of topical films, but not a good set. If you just want to laugh, you might as well watch it, but I warn you first, the two scenes of naked men wrestling and borat going to the toilet, although they are two of the funniest episodes in the movie, they are really heavy... ....
