One of the most powerful western movies I have seen in the past two years, and it is my favorite one among the current American westerns. If you just look at the first half, it will be a little monotonous, and you will think that this is an "anti-western movie", which can be said to be a bit like a "western cowboy life movie". The story takes place in the American West at the end of the 19th century, and a poor middle-aged and elderly killer returns to the arena to earn a bounty. At first, he kept going down and finally fought back completely. During this period, he experienced the killing of his old partner and the humiliation and illness and almost died. Compared with previous westerns, it is very different. For example, westerns like "The Brave Seven Flood Dragons" show the killer's fearlessness, fearlessness and boldness, giving people the pleasure of watching martial arts movies. But this movie is very different. He will show the killer's psychological activities when killing people in a very real way, such as talking and shrinking. The whole film feels very real, but it is not about the scene of the gun battle, but the scenes of the characters and the various psychological activities of people. There are a few dialogues in it that impressed me the most. The biographer asked the male protagonist: "When the enemy is outnumbered, the experienced gunman will solve the best marksmanship first." The male protagonist replied: This time I am probably lucky , but when I kill, I’m always lucky.” If someone asks me, “What do you think of the killers of the American West in 1880?” "Then I would recommend him to see the movie.
