"Quick Attack"

"Fast Attack" is the sequel to " Fast Pursuit ", in fact, the original name of both films is "John Wick". The director is Chad Stalski, who directs all these kind of fighting crime films. The protagonist is Keanu Reeves, the programmer in "The Matrix", who inexplicably became the savior of the world.

The film is about a retired gangster who, for some personal grievances, returns to the arena and fights invincible players all over the world. First kills his sister for a gang, then breaks with the gang and completes his revenge.

It's an old story though. But many famous actors have been used, and all the scenes have been carefully designed and arranged, which are very eye-catching and beautiful. It's a typical "human play".

Vic, played by Keanu, is a tragic figure. Although he is skilled and strong in martial arts, he still cannot control his own destiny. In my opinion, the reason why Vic is so powerful is not only because of his martial arts, but also because he has a wide range of knowledge. The so-called "kung fu is beyond poetry". It is said that he once killed three people with a pencil, which is somewhat similar to the plot in Jin Yong's novel where chopsticks are used as daggers. The shooting technique is also very good. Many times, one hand suppressed a thug, and the other held a gun and flew the accomplices who came to support.

On the subway, fighting with a bodyguard of the same martial arts, and finally stabbing a dagger in the opponent's chest, the bodyguard was still struggling, Vic whispered to him: "This knife has pierced your aorta, you Pull it out and it will bleed to death." It can be seen that Vic also has a lot of research on medicine and anatomy.

After Vic's first revenge, he wanted to restore the weapons and tools previously buried under the floor to their original state. He, sand and cement, smoothed the floor after a while. This plasterer's business is equally professional.

Not to mention the car skills, in order to get back the car his wife gave him, Vic rushed left and right to kill, the windshield was shattered, the door fell, the chassis fell, the drive shaft was completely damaged, and he still insisted on driving home. . This is difficult for any old driver to do.

Despite his ability, Vic's life is a mess. As one of his old opponents said: "You have no wife, no house, no life, only revenge." In the eyes of the gang leader, Vic, the former "Night Demon", was not very convenient. Just an effective tool. And Vic himself, after years of fighting and killing, was tired of it, and tried hard to become a normal person, with a normal relationship, a normal family, and a free life. In this way, there is an irreconcilable contradiction with the evil forces, which makes Vic's life full of tragedy. The gangsters didn't even leave a pet for Vic, and if they didn't do it, even his house was set on fire. So what other options does Vic have other than to continue fighting for revenge? The result of the fight did not bring freedom and happiness to Vic (maybe stay in the next episode?), leaving only the audience to appreciate his unparalleled martial arts in the film.

The director also designed several such plots in the film, that is, the gangsters are setting rules for themselves in the process of growing and expanding. For example, several gangs choose a leader according to a strict procedure, similar to the reincarnation of a spiritual boy in Tibetan Buddhism. In the mainland hotel built by the gangsters, fighting and assassination are not allowed. In fact, I think this is the wishful thinking of the director. Most of the gangsters are not high-educated and low-level, and it is their nature not to obey the rules. Moreover, the gangs started and developed by opening brothels and casinos to buy and sell drugs. Which one did it according to the rules? If there are rules, the only one is: seek advantages and avoid disadvantages. At the beginning of several hooligan leaders in Shanghai, Huang Jinrong relied on instigating his subordinates to fight each other to establish authority, Du Yuesheng relied on being a chamber pot for Chiang Kai-shek, and Zhang Xiaolin relied on selling himself to the Japanese. None of what he did was based on serious rules. The so-called rules are only set up to restrain the subordinates. Once you encounter a hot temper like Vic, it will all be turned around and voided.

Not to mention the rules, but the logic of action is almost non-existent in the gang. The existence of the gang depends on the "black", and there is the inheritance of the Italian mafia abroad. In China, it was the habit of the Cultural Revolution rebels. In any case, as a gangster film like "Quick Strike", like "The Godfather", it is still very enjoyable to watch. Just don't imitate.
