not so brilliant

Not so brilliant, not so great, we are all just ordinary people.
In the face of atrocities, they will give in; they will want their children to grow up by their side, even if it is just a confined space; knowing that their daughter has done nothing wrong, they can't help but blame her; seeing innocent children, but because of the thought I hate my biological father...
But no matter how much sadness, it disappears in the child's milky voice: I love u grandma.

I thought the mother-son duo would return to real life with many, many dramatic exaggerations. But it didn't. Although there are media chases and interceptions, aggressive reporters in interview programs, and fathers who hurt their own... But there are also mothers and stepfathers who treat their own warmth, even the dog, and a little friend who plays with his son.
Maybe, it wasn't so dramatic in the first place. Not so cruel and not so tender. Humans are inherently contradictory. When the mother and daughter quarreled, the two made full use of their negative emotions, but they tended to ease in the end. That's life itself, isn't it.

In the end, they returned to the Room, without grief, without breaking down and crying, and just a silent goodbye. Tragedy will pass, and so will joy.

3.5 in; moved by the little protagonist many times, the "room" that is full of darkness in the eyes of adults is a paradise of his childhood dreams, can chase light and shadow, can play with furniture, children's endless imagination makes the confined space change It was infinite, and the first half was beautiful and cruel. After blending into the outside world, the clues were more complicated, and it was not handled properly. "You saved me again" and the farewell ceremony were really teary.

The little actor did not nominate the best actor, it must be to give the little golden man to Leonardo.

Room quotes

  • Jack: [thinking to himself] One, two, three... There's room, then outer space, with all the TV planets, then heaven. Plant is real, but not trees. Spiders are real, and one time the mosquito that was sucking my blood. But squirrels and dogs are just TV, except lucky. He's my dog who might come some day. Monsters are too big to be real, and the sea. TV persons are flat and made of colors. But me and you are real.

  • Old Nick: What's that smell?

Ma: Sorry, I burned some cheese. Here. I just wasn't thinking.

Old Nick: Well, thinking is not your strong suit.
