the shape of water
The fourth movie we watched together. Every time I see you, you look better every time.
If for some people, the first feeling they like is low self-esteem. That's not what love is portrayed in this movie. This movie tells us that the feeling of love is that I can be who I really am in front of you, and in front of you, I am my whole self. There is a scene in the film where the heroine is suddenly able to speak and sing. The subtitles of the movie theater are flipped twice, "I care about you", and the first one I heard should be "Love you", so I said to the person next to me. The first sentence a girl says should be "I love you". When I got home and listened to the original soundtrack of the movie, I found that the lyrics were "miss you". Why did I hear it wrong? Did I tell the people around me my true thoughts buried deep in my heart by hearing the wrong lyrics? I think the most romantic scene in the movie is when the heroine closes the bathroom door and keeps turning on the faucet until the whole room is filled with water, and the man and the fish hug each other tightly. So happy.
Maybe there is no one in the world who is not alone? And there's no one who doesn't want to have love? Love and loneliness are the eternal themes of human beings. I am not afraid of loneliness, nor am I afraid of being alone, but I really want to hold you tightly, hug you all the time, and never let go.
