Tyler killed not only Bath, but the disgusting False Virgin

Let's change the ending. The male protagonist swayed towards Baan and faced his guilty eyes. After a few seconds of silence, the male protagonist put down the M16, which was stained with the blood of the Vietnamese army. Oh no, I can't do that, he's a complete asshole, but let's give him a chance and let the great nation handle him! The camera moved up and the ED sounded. So disgusting! My favorite scene in the whole movie is the ten seconds when Bahn gets fucked to death. Shameless bastards can never be forgiven, as is the case with a lot of American work, and mostly Japanese. Purely from the feeling, I like this kind of story, and I don't like that kind of fake justice. Just like in Jin Yong's works, most of the guys who claim to be famous and decent are hypocritical villains. There is no need to worry about whether some people are decent or not, because justice is relative, as long as there are people, absolute justice cannot exist. I hate works that ignore human nature. It seems that the decent characters have to bring all the good points, and the villains are useless except for their intrigues, and I can't wait to describe them as evil and dirty aggregations. Works like that do nothing but narrowly satisfy the self-deception of some hypocrite. I like the male protagonist's last behavior, stepping over the rules, confronting the public knowledge, and taking revenge for his respected comrades in arms. There is humanity in this behavior, and it is more convincing than a mother-like forgiveness. At the same time, I have come to realize more and more that truly great works of art are objective records, not subjective contrasts. If all the techniques of a creator are deification and demonization, then he must not be an artist. Of course, this does not mean that he will not succeed, perhaps some vulgar guys will enthusiastically pursue him. They're going to gather together and feed their empty guts and brain cells in their corpses with fantasies. Regarding the Vietnam War, I don't want to dwell too much. There is no justice in war, and it will never cease: past, present, future, only the form of struggle changes. As for the good side of human nature, it only exists in part. The big direction is always driven by desire. Partial rain cannot extinguish the burning desire.

Platoon quotes

  • King: [Watching the ambush party leave into the jungle] I'm glad I ain't going with them. Somewhere out there is the beast and he hungry tonight.

  • Bunny: You know, Junior, some of the things we done, man... I don't feel like we done something wrong. But sometimes, man, I get this bad feeling. I told the Padre the truth, man. I like it here. You get to do what you want. Nobody fucks with you. The only worry you got is dying. And if that happens, you won't know about it anyway. So what the fuck, man.

Junior: Shit, I got to be in this hole with you, man? I just know I shouldn't have come.
