This conclusion is compared with another master Kubrick's Vietnam War masterpiece Full Metal Jacket. Full Metal Jacket has distinctive features, which directly reflect the destruction of human nature by war. And I feel that Oliver Stone wants to express a lot of things, including the cruelty of war, the madness of war, and the reshaping of human nature by war, but the uniform force leads to no strength in any aspect and cannot shock the audience. In general, it is still A little thinner. So it's no surprise that it's Full Metal Jacket, not Platoon, that has been hailed as "the best Vietnam war movie ever made."
Another famous film about the Vietnam War is Apocalypse Now, but I haven't seen it yet. This film is said to have caused the great director Coppola to lose all his money, but as time goes by, more and more film critics applaud it, hoping to see it as soon as possible.
