It's not a perfect disaster film, it's vomiting

I really shouldn't watch a movie 12 years ago with the eyes of the current movie special effects. Because that really makes me feel uncomfortable. Those movie special effects are really "special effects". I always think that they are made by models and then destroyed. I said, after all, the special effects shouldn't be so frustrating--I didn't think those special effects were fake when I watched "Alien 1". It's just that one is a science fiction movie and the other is a disaster movie. Why is there such a big difference? What's the reason?
After watching this movie, I seriously felt that the car at the time was really easy to use. It was easy to use whether it was going up the knife mountain or going down the oil pot. It is still active when it is submerged in water, and it will automatically go out if it is burned by fire. In the movie, if common sense is not violated, the off-road vehicle in the movie is definitely needed by the future world, and it is an indispensable mountain climbing tool for traveling. Regardless of whether the landslide or the snow-capped mountains collapsed, you must be able to survive.
Okay, I'm done vomiting--

The special effects are good. The plot is a typical disaster movie. Who dies and who lives mainly depends on who is the protagonist and who offends the protagonist.

Okay, this is the one with the old man pushing the boat, which made me cry. . . I didn't find out that 007 was acting at that time

Dante's Peak quotes

  • Greg: It's coffee time! Coffee, coffee, coffee, coffee, coffee, coffee! Cappuccino, java, YES!

  • Stan: Isn't this beautiful, nestled all nice and cozy right up against the mountain?

    Nancy: Yeah, just like Pompeii.
