Thought-provoking game

Those who study interaction design know that the charm of games lies in their interactivity and immersion. As a designer, I hope the game can bring a perfect real experience. I have always had this vision for the game before watching this movie, but we have overlooked some important things, which I have never even thought about. The game is a game because it has certain rules, and its rules are often based on real society.

Taking the game CS as an example, there is real life and death, and there is only one life. And the game has another chance. Such rules are made under the attributes of the game. So even a child with little knowledge knows that games are games and real life is real life. They will never give up life and choose to be reborn easily. It seems that after the movie, my first feeling is fear. Such a game will make people lose their cognition, can't distinguish between reality and illusion, and it is even difficult to distinguish between life and death. Rules will limit the freedom of people. The rules here can be regulations, ethics and so on. But without the rules, human beings are really terrible.

In the movie, the protagonist kills the waiter at random in a Chinese restaurant, but the people around who are eating see it as if nothing happened, and he is used to it. What makes them so crazy? The answer may be the lack of experience, and what is the missing experience? It is the end of life-death. If humans don't know what death is, then there is nothing to care about, and there is no fear. So at the end of the film, the Chinese waiter smiled at a loss at the gunpoint.
